The Medical Education Centre for Research, Innovation and Training (MECRIT) under of Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan has organized 5 days workshop on data analysis workshop from 24-28 June 2019 at Hotel Holiday Home Paro with funding support from Bhutan Foundation, Bhutan. The training was provided by professor Mayur Desai from Yale School of Public Health and facilitator from MECRIT, KGUMSB.
This workshop was organized based on the feedback from some of the research grantees, where they expressed the need to develop competency in data entry and analysis. The aim of this workshop was to develop understanding and competency related to data entry, analysis and interpretation to be able to make meaning out the numbers. The sessions were interactive discussion and actual practice with the data. For the workshop, the participants were from three faculties , MoH and new REBH member of MoH
